The Leadership Behind Ubiik's Global Impact

Meet the experienced team driving innovation in private LTE, AMI networks, and critical infrastructure solutions worldwide.

Fabien Petitgrand

Fabien is the driving technical force behind Ubiik’s innovations. As a primary contributor to the Weightless-P LPWAN technology specification, he brings deep, specialized expertise in cellular technologies, modem algorithm design, and SoC (System on a Chip) architecture to the executive team.

With a strong foundation in telecommunications and signal processing, Fabien has a proven track record of taking complex cellular and IoT technologies from architecture to commercialization.

Head of Software Development & Technology Strategy, Ubiik (2016 – Present): Leads the technical direction and software engineering teams, playing a vital role in shaping the company’s LPWAN capabilities.
Member of Technical Staff, M2COMM (2013 – 2016): Drove the technology development and support for Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) products. Key contributor to the SoC architecture and commercialization of a multi-region, Sigfox-certified communication chipset.
System Lead & Special Assistant to the President, MStar / MediaTek (2006 – 2013): Spearheaded the development of 2G/3G/4G cellular technologies. Managed complex projects including cellular modem algorithm design (GSM, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA), MCU/DSP instruction-set optimization, and audio processing implementations.
